"The Unshakable Botanist"
Doren
is the son of the Rylantian hero, Oronore the Redeemed. Since
Oronore had passed away a few years prior, it was left to Doren to guide
May of the Red Edge in the development of her abilities as
one of her childhood mentors.
Due to his defiance toward the Khroneran (Rylante's
most influencial being), Doren never achieved the fame and recognition
for his physical feats akin to his father or May. Undeterred by the
Khroneran's ploys, Doren never stopped finding ways to aid the people
of Rylante.
Within the safety of his subterranean mountain
farmstead, Doren developed a number of bio-engineered flora capable
of surviving in a storm ravaged countryside.
Doren's farm remains one of the largest
sources of vegetable life and exotic flora on Rylante. He maintains
an open door policy to anyone in need of the farm's resources.
